Cardinal is a leading provider of investment capital in the Irish market, with a specialist focus on mid-market private equity and real estate. Established in 2003, the Cardinal team have been leaders in this space for 20 years. Building on a strategic process that defined the principles that drives this work and their culture, we worked with them to cement this position in the landscape.
We worked to streamline the proposition and copy, bringing together the two sides of their business and multi sector approach into a confident, cohesive offering. A clean, contemporary approach to brand assets and digital design creates interactions that cut through and set them apart. Aligning with sustainability goals, the site was built with a small carbon footprint — to be as lightweight as possible without compromising the quality.
The site highlights the impact of investment on people and businesses through the use of meaningful statistics and a series of partner stories. With commissioned photography, to demonstrate the Cardinal team’s expertise - and immerse the audience in the breadth of its investments across Ireland, playing a key role in humanising and communicating these stories.

We developed a brand and digital platform that rejected the industry status quo to convey an organisation that thinks and acts differently - simpler, clearer, more future focused. This is epitomised in the simplified north star icon at the heart of the brand and the removal of capital from the brand name to the much more confident - Cardinal. And a strong positioning line - Investing in Ireland’s future - provides a strong, future focused statement of intent.
