We worked with Keeper Pictures, an ambitious female led film company, to bring to life an inclusive vision for the business and wider industry. We helped them develop a new name that encapsulated what they wanted the business to stand for, and a dynamic brand and website that would propel them into the next chapter.
Previously called Blinder Films, the organisation was at a key point in its development. Having been established for 15 years it was entering a new chapter under the leadership of one of the previous partners. With the content production landscape much changed since they were established they needed to define a confident place in it that made clear their more caring and inclusive vision.
How do you sum up a whole plot in one icon? By having a bit of fun and good collaborating with the team at Keeper to think up the more obscure and in some instances funny references that some hardcore fans would instantly connect with. For others, they are just a but of joy
We developed a bright, dynamic brand and digital experience that allows them to amplify creative diversity. A playful set of icons give each production it’s own identity, while a range of social media and content templates empowered the team at Keeper to create and share their own stories.
Together we set an ambitious aim to make an environmentally friendly website that was still dynamic, content rich and visually impactful. By taking a creative approach to design, build and how we utilised content we were able to create a site that celebrates the productions with impactful bold imagery while keeping the site lightweight and fast loading. On the home page, in place of video, which is typically seen on production company websites, we created 'cinemagraphs' by layering an image animated through code over a still background image. Keeping the experience dynamic and impactful and the page weight down.
This kind of thinking allowed us to ensure the site had a small carbon footprint without compromising the quality of the work, and to embed Keeper’s inclusive, progressive, caring vision into every aspect of their brand experience.

A new proposition - a creative and strategic partner for ambitious and original storytellers - informed the approach to building a brand that put care and creativity at its heart and wears it on its sleeve. The new name marked a moment of change and made a brave statement of intent, representing the support and nurture they provide, with a nod to the excellent stories world class film and tv they produce. For Keeps. This balance of thoughtfulness and the unexpected, care and creativity is carried on across all aspects of the brand and digital experience.
